Educators

Help learners build understanding—and independence.

STEMTEQ is developing hands-on electronics learning experiences that connect technical ideas to real components, observable results, and purposeful problem-solving.

Our initial program focuses on grades 6–8. Instructional materials are being developed with educator guidance, flexible pacing, and opportunities for learners to explain, test, and improve their ideas.

Learning through evidence

A working circuit is part of the learning experience. So are the predictions, measurements, troubleshooting decisions, and explanations that lead to it.

Predict

Ask learners what they expect to happen and why. Make their reasoning visible before they build or test.

Observe

Encourage careful observation and measurement. Compare what happened with the original prediction.

Identify possibilities

Help learners consider possible explanations, choose a useful check, and use the result to decide what to try next.

Guidance that supports teaching

The program is being designed to pair learner materials with adult guidance that explains the purpose of an activity, important technical ideas, and ways to support troubleshooting without taking over the task.

Clear instructions and meaningful technical challenges should work together. Our aim is to make electronics approachable while preserving accuracy, safety, and room for independent thinking.

A foundation with room to grow

The twelve-session electronics course-in-a-kit under development provides a learning backbone. Project extensions are intended to give learners opportunities to combine skills, modify circuits, and explore applications of their own.

Help shape practical learning materials

Educator feedback can reveal where instructions need clarification, where learners need additional support, and where an activity could offer a stronger challenge.

We welcome conversations with teachers, homeschool educators, after-school programs, and other learning organizations interested in contributing feedback or discussing future testing.

Current development status

The program and its supporting materials are in development. We are not announcing classroom-ready availability, institutional packages, or release dates at this stage.
